Take 2 in Fort Erie

I hate to post bad reviews...But this was the most awful meal I have ever had. The service was good, but I will not be going back

Have been a few times for lunch after running around all morning. Food was excellent, prices are reasonable, and the staff are courteous and friendly. They fit in with all the local bars and restaurants!

Great main bar area ... food is fantastic and offers a really good breakfast menu as well.

Absolutely disgusted, decided to bring some friends out cause we went before and it was alright... get there and its empty besides one person at the bar.. well our server came over wouldnt shut up about our kids being a bit sketchy.. our friends look at us and says shes drugged up.. 20 minutes later our appetizers are ready and we are ready to order our dinner and shes no where to be found... the cook ends up bringing them out and no one can find the waitress. As the customer at the bar is waiting to pay and leave no one can find the server until we enter the womans bathroom and find her passed out on the toilet. I wake her up after a few minutes of screaming at her ... she drops a lighter and what looks to be drugs on the floor .. like seriously pissed me right off as we have two 3 month old girls at the restaurant with us.. eat some of our garlic bread and find it's got mold at the bottom. Got up and walked out... was extremely angry and will never be going back.

Comfy atmosphere good food good service decent prices

The fish was great.Was a friday special.They have 2 sizes to choose from. Good for small or large eaters. The staff was very accommodating. there is other items on the menu I want to try. We will be back to enjoy.

As locals of Fort Erie, my wife and I always see cars in the parking lot and finally having a chance too, we did exactly that. Our server was a very kind down to earth young man who did a great job of checking on not only his but his other tables. The food was served in a very timely manner and arrived hot. The quality was simply delicious, we really enjoyed it and will definitely be going back

Great food, horrible service. Too bad the owner is a very skilled and talented chef. The problem with this place is the hired help. The manager is ill equipped to deal with the public and there is a constant turn over in help. Because of poor management we had to wait almost an hour for our food to arrive. When it finally arrived it was out of order, with the appetizer arriving after the main course, which finally arrived cold. Upon complaining to the waitress we had the manager approach our table. She was belligerent and confrontational. We told her that we did not feel that we should have to pay for cold, late food and she removed our food from the table. We left the establishment and will never return to eat there again.

I'll give you 2 stars so your staff can read this and learn to count to 2!!!! I orders a double order of fish and chips which is 2 pieces you gave me 1 with my order. You know I used to wonder why every thing in for Erie always fails and never lasts, places like this make it very clear.

Our visit here was OK. I wouldn't say it was something special. The server was polite and friendly. They atmosphere was nice. I don't think it to be fair to judge a place's entire menu on what I ordered today. I would go again and try something else before I up or downgraded my four star evaluation.

Tbh wasnt impressed

Take 2 ...Love the atmosphere is kept clean and the food is great!! We been there several times and always enjoyed our meal. Love wings you got to try their wings, #1 @ take 2.

Probably the best kept secret in Fort Erie for food. Everything I’ve had has been delicious. A must try!!!

Great food and Katie is our favorite server. Unfortunately because we are a group of sometimes 6 or 8 we will call to make a reservation. Twice we have been scolded almost berated for not calling before 2. Didnt know there is a specific time frame. It is on us if when we call and they are too busy to take our reservation. Not sure who is taking the calls but a bit of phone ettiqute would go far.Thanks

Had souvlaki with Greek salad. Smallest salad I've ever been served anywhere. Souvlaki was very bland, I didn't taste any seasoning that would make it souvlaki instead of plain chicken kebobs. I was there for lunch previously and the soup wasn't good then as well. Husband had fish and chips said it was all very greasy. Can't imagine I'll ever go back.

Slow wait service and not a lot on the plate for the price. Can pop and cost for refills

I love this place. Great food at a reasonable price. Staff always friendly and helpful. Owners are wonderful people. I would recommend this place

Nice atmosphere. Regular fare here but the chef is Korean and has a list of noodle and meat dishes with a Korean touch. I had the thin noodles with beef. The beef was delicious and the noodles awesome. Would highly recommend this restaurant.

Good variety on the menu. Food was great and they do not scrimp on the serving sizes.. Fully licenced. Service was excellent. Prices were very good. Good amount of free onsite parking.

Now under new ownership and New Name Take 5 ! The food was amazingly delicious and would differently eat here again ! I had the Lobster Mac & Cheese with a french onion soup incredible !

The restaurant was clean looking and the booth was comfortable and that unfortunately is all it had going for it. After a glass of wine and waiting for chicken tenders for over 1 hour and watching everyone else around us get served we go up went to the bar to pay for the wine to leave. The waitress was scattered and unfocused the whole time we were there running around talking on the phone and told us the meal delay after asking was because the chef was new(he was not). Another server offered the wine as complementary and a free meal. Which was nice however we will not be back. This is the 2nd bad experience

Very nice decor, much nicer than expected. Good service, reasonable prices, especially the luncheon specials! Everyone in our little group enjoyed their choice of food.Second visit on Monday, chose to sit on the patio. I really enjoyed my souvlaki, but we were surprised at the generous size of the steak hoagie! Good was really delicious, but what made this visit remarkable was our server, Quincy. The three of us agreed that his service was the best any of us had ever received, welcoming and attentive without being fawning. We will definitely be back

What a mess! As per usual, the temperature was uncomfortable in the restaurant due to a terrible heating and cooling system. Also, not only did we get a glass that had lipstick on it, but, we also received a tartar sauce that had been used. It was blatantly obvious that a chunk was missing from the tartar sauce with fork marks in it. When the owner came over to talk to me about it, he became enraged and stated that it was impossible. Eventually he stormed back to the kitchen after offering me no form of compensation and began to scream erratically. Throughout this whole mess of a visit, our waitress Katie was amazing. She is a truly lovely person.

This place is no longer 3 West it is now Take 5. New owner has done a nice job. New cook, good food and friendly service.

Great service food was excellent!

They were able to accommodate 7 U11 boys and families (17 in total)! Quincy, our waiter, was fantastic, bringing the boys cut up oranges for their last game. Food was excellent! Above and beyond service!

This place was one of the worst places I've ever been to.My fiancé ordered the chicken pad Thai which tasted like bad fish. Our dumplings were mushy and bland also the serving size was small compared to most places which in this case was a blessing due to how gross they were.The hamburger I ordered was a decent size but tasted of garlic and salt.A friend of ours ordered the pan fried fish and a side of rice. The fish made her gag occasionally due to the amount of salt and the rice was cold and mushy.Before I could finish my subpar burger I had to slip to the washroom to vomit. Which I've never done before.Both me and my fiancé have been sick off and on all night, this experience also ruined my father's birthday.If I could give this place a negative 5 star review I would.The only good thing about this place was how nice the waitresses were.

Totally agree with Pat Shaddocks review. Great food great service and we all agree Katie is our favourite waitress ever!! We always call ahead as a courtesy instead of walking in with 6 or 8 people. Sorry to say we will not be doing this again after being scolded lately by who I believe is the manager for not calling by 2:00 for a table at 6:30. The restaurant is empty by 7 to 7:30 so dont understand.We do not think this an appropriate way to treat loyal customers who have been regulars for years through good times and bad.

Great selection and service at this location and very friendly staff. Very large layout, plenty of space at tables and nicely decorated throughout - this location is recommended!

Nice atmosphere good food decent prices

The food was great, the service was lacking. I was there eating lunch with my mom.

My wife & I thought we would try Take 2. Our usual place we go to is either closed or just shutdown. We gave it a shot. Food was great. Waitress Jen was pleasant & treated us good. Price was decent. Atmosphere with all considering Covid 19 was fun & inviting. We will be returning

For my breakfast, it was great food and service. A little different selection from the normal breakfast places. That was nice.

Great food, pleasantly surprised, service was good. Love the quesadillas. Will be back.
